We understand you may register for an item and decide to return it after your event. Our Hassle-Free Returns Policy gives you the freedom to change your mind.
If you decide you want to return an item, just bring the item and its gift receipt to the Customer Service desk of your local Kohl's. Or, you can return your item by mailing it back to our return center.

We asked Mallory and Jason, a couple who registered at Kohl's for their wedding, to tell us their story: from how they met, to their happily ever after.
My husband, Jason, and I met each other traveling in our college choir and band. We instantly became best friends with our love of coffee, music and dogs. With my practical mindset and his lighthearted ways, we soon realized we made a great team and started to think about tying the knot.
One morning, we went on a coffee run. While we were waiting for our drinks, he took my hand and asked for everyone's attention.
'I just want everyone to know what an amazing woman you are,' he said, 'and how much I deeply love you.'
He asked me to marry him and with the happiest grin, I said absolutely!
The wedding planning took about a year. If it wasn't for our mothers' help we may have just eloped! All of the planning was so overwhelming. We decided to register at Kohl's because it was so very easy. We looked into registering at other stores but Kohl's had more variety, better products and better customer service.
Everything was so organized and going through the online registry actually helped me remember several important things I wouldn't have thought of. It was also easy for friends and family to find great gifts and still get a great deal. And for any duplicate gifts we got, it was very easy to return them.
With all of our hard work, our wedding day turned out beautiful. The ceremony was inside a small country church and we set up a tent outside for the reception. There was a candy buffet, a photo shoot and lots of dancing.
Our favorite part of the wedding day was right after the ceremony. We were pronounced man and wife, danced down the aisle and breathed a huge sigh of relief! All the pressure was off and we were free to just have fun the rest of the day!
If you've already created a Kohls.com shopping account, then you're a registered customer. If you created an account, you created a sign-in name with your email address and provided a password and shipping and billing addresses.
If you've already created a Kohls.com shopping account, there are two easy steps for creating your registry.
It's that easy! Next time you sign in to your Kohls.com shopping account, your registry will be just a click away!
Note: If you are experiencing problems signing in, make sure your email address is in the appropriate format (e.g. firstname.lastname@example.org). Please re-enter your password, keeping in mind that passwords are 5-8 characters long and case sensitive.
By signing in to your Kohls.com shopping account, your registry will be available under "Registries." From here, you can view, add or change items on your registry, as well as update your registry profile.
If you don't have a Kohls.com shopping account, there are two easy ways to search for your registry by name or registry number.
To find your registry by name, enter at least the first two letters of your first and last names. It's optional to enter the state where your event is taking place and registry type; however, the more information you enter, the better your search results will be.
To find your registry by number, make sure to enter your entire registry number. If you enter a partial registry number, you won't receive any results.
Yes. If you change the email address for your registry, be sure to remember that change when you're accessing your Kohls.com shopping account.
Your names are the primary way that guests will search for your registry. Make sure to enter your First and Last Names completely. Middle initial is optional.
If your formal and common names are different, you'll need to decide which one to enter. For example, if your common name is "Ginny," but your formal first name will appear on your wedding invitations, you may want to enter "Virginia" as your first name. On the other hand, if your formal name is "Virginia," but everyone knows you as your middle name, you may want to enter "Sue" as your first name.
Whether you are entering a new address or updating an existing address, it is important that you enter information accurately and completely. A Contact Phone number is important so that we can get in touch with you with information that is specific to your registry.
When you have entered your Contact Address, we will create a handy Address Book for you to use whenever we ask for other types of addresses. (If you are a registered Kohls.com customer, your My Account Address Book will appear.) That means that any other time we request an address, you can simply select an address that you've already entered. What could be easier? Of course, we always allow you to create a new address, too.
And, if you haven't already, we'd like to encourage you to enter a Shipping Address. This way guests can have the option to ship gifts (and gift receipts) directly to you, without seeing your specific address. Trust us, your guests will thank you!
On your behalf, we provide a unique, descriptive name for each new address you create. For example, we'll provide the name "ContactAddress" for the address you enter on the Contact Information page. Basically, this is an Address Label field, or simply a way to assign a "short name" to an address.
Please note: This Contact Address "short name" is for your use only. It will not be visible to your guests.
When we provide the unique, descriptive name for new addresses, we suggest you stick with them. However, if you do choose to rename this address, make sure that it accurately represents the location, i.e., "Mary's Apartment" or "Tom & Mary's House," and is within the 20-character limit.
Through Your Profile, you can easily edit your Contact Information any time and as many times as you need.
In fact, there are three ways to change your Contact Address:
(Note: This will change the address everywhere you use it. For example, if you use this Contact Address for your Shipping Address, the change will be made there as well.)
If you choose to create a brand-new address, make sure to provide a unique, descriptive name in the Address Label field as a way to name that address. Make sure that it accurately represents the location, i.e., "Mary's Apartment" or "Tom & Mary's House," and is within the 20-character limit.
We encourage you to enter a shipping address so your guests can ship gifts to you! You can select an address you've already entered or create a new address. This allows guests the option to ship gifts directly to you without seeing your specific address. Plus, your guests won't need to request a gift receipt because we'll automatically include one.
The state you choose for your shipping address is also the state your guests can use when searching for your registry.
To make your registry available to your guests, we recommend you choose "Display registry at Kohls.com and at a Kohl's kiosk." This will allow your guests to purchase from your registry whether they live next door or across the country.
If you don't select "Display registry at Kohls.com and at a Kohl's kiosk," your guests will not be able to view your registry. You will be the only one who is able to view your registry when you're logged in to your Kohls.com shopping account.
There are three ways to change a shipping address:
Note: This will change the address everywhere you use it. If you use this shipping address for your contact address, the change will be made there as well.
If you choose to add a new address, make sure to provide a unique, descriptive name in the address label field. Make sure it accurately represents the location, i.e. "Mary's Apartment" or "Tom & Mary's House," and is within the 20-character limit.
If you'd prefer your guests not ship gifts to you, select "Do Not Ship" from the drop-down menu.
Event Date (month, date and year) and Event Location (2-letter state abbreviation) are important required fields because they can help your guests find your registry. They'll search by entering your name, and can narrow their search with your Event Month, Event Year and Event Location. This information will also help your guests choose the correct listing from the search results page.
If you are getting a head start on the registering process, and have not yet chosen an Event Date and/or Event Location, then enter an approximate Event Date and/or Event Location. If this information changes as you continue to plan for your big day, then just come back to Kohl's Wedding Registry and choose "Update a Registry." Once you sign-in, you can quickly and easily update your Event Date and/or Event Location, as well as any other information that may have changed.
Your event name will be seen by your guests as a way to ship gifts to you (if you chose "Allow my guests to shop my gift list at Kohls.com" and you provide a Shipping Address).
We automatically provide the Name of Event for you. It consists of the combination of your last name + your co-registrant's last name + Wedding (SmithJonesWedding). However, there is a 20-character limit, so part of this combination could be cut off (PattersonHunterWeddi).
So, if your last names are long, you may want to edit your Event Name to show your first names instead of your last names (Lisa & John Wedding). And, remember, there is a 20 character limit!
Select the field you want to modify and enter the new information. Remember: Your guests will find your registry with this info. Your registry will be available for 13 months after your event.
If you have not yet chosen an Event Date and/or Event Location, then enter an approximate Event Date and/or Event Location. If this information changes as you continue to plan for your big day, then just come back to Your Profile and update this information again.
If you choose to edit your Event Name, you may want to show your first names (Lisa & John Wedding) instead of your last names. Remember, there is a 20 character limit!
We keep registrants informed about their registries through the mail, but we'd love to communicate with you via email, too! Make sure to enter your email address in the appropriate format, e.g. email@example.com.
If you provide us with your email address and check "Yes! I want to Sign up for Email Sale Alerts," we'll keep you in-the-know regarding special savings and our biggest sales. Every email we send you will include an easy opt-out feature to remove your name from our email list if you change your mind. You must be at least 18 years old to sign up for Email Sale Alerts.
And because we value you as a customer, you have our commitment to respect your privacy. We do not share the information you provide to us, including your email address.
Don't worry! We'll send you a temporary password. This will allow you access to your account, where you'll be able to change your password without losing any of your personal information.
To have a temporary password emailed to you: Click the "Forgot your Password?" link under "Manage My Registry." Enter the email address you provided when you created your Kohls.com shopping account and we'll send you a temporary password via email almost immediately. (If your password doesn't arrive within 24 hours, please call Customer Service toll free at 866-887-8884.)
You can edit your email address at any time under "Your Profile."
Note: If you have a Kohls.com shopping account, your email address is used as your sign-in name. If you change your email address for your registry, remember that change when accessing your Kohls.com shopping account!
You should review the information in your registry profile and take note of your registry number. If your information changes you can update it. Just choose "Manage My Registry" and sign in.
It's important to keep your registry information up-to-date! If anything in your profile is incomplete or incorrect, including your contact information, shipping address, event date, sign-in name or password, click on the "edit" link next to the information you want to update.
Pricing: Kohls.com prices are shown in the "item" column, and prices in store may vary. Please keep in mind if an item's status is "clearance" or "limited quantity," it means quantities are limited and the selection of colors, sizes and styles may vary.
Items currently out of stock: An item on Kohls.com is out of stock if the description is not underlined and not clickable and is also labeled "no longer available."
Items not available online: If you add items at a Kohl's Department Store that are not available on Kohls.com, this will be reflected on your registry. If guests wish to purchase these items, they can visit their nearest Kohl's Department Stores.
Items selected by other guests: While shopping on Kohls.com or at a Kohl's Department Store, your guests may choose to purchase items that aren't on your registry. These gifts will be noted on your registry as being selected by guests with a quantity of zero in the "Wants" column. To remove an item that a guest added to your registry, please call Customer Service toll free at 866-887-8884.
Make sure you include everything you could possibly wish for on your registry! Since everyone changes his or her mind from time to time, we've made it easy to update and add items to your registry anytime you wish!
Adding new items to registry: We offer three easy ways to add new items to your registry!
Reviewing registry items: Click the description to see details about a specific registry item.
To change the quantities of registry items: You can easily change quantities wanted under your list view. Just click the "update quantity" button next to the item and type the desired quantity. When you've finished, click "update" to view your changes. To change quantities wanted under the grid view, hover over the quantity to update.
To change the colors and sizes of registry items: You can easily change the colors and/or sizes wanted for an item by clicking on the item description. Once on the product page, choose the new color and/or size desired and click "Add to Registry." The new item will be added to your registry, so you'll need to remove the old item.
To remove registry items: You can easily remove items from your registry by checking the "remove" button. When you've finished, click "update" to view your changes.
To print a copy of your registry, click on "Print" at the top of the page. You'll be able to select the product categories that you'd like to print. You can also choose to print purchased/unpurchased items.
