Hollywood by the Sea
Kohl's Hollywood is found in beautiful Hollywood, FL. This city was the brainchild of developer Joseph Young. Young, based in New York, wanted to create a "Dream City in Florida" for snowbirds escaping harsh winters. After purchasing Florida acreage circa 1920, Young named his town "Hollywood by the Sea." But if you think that sounds a lot like Hollywood, CA, it was actually meant to differentiate it from his New York venture "Hollywood in the Hills." Clearly Young had a formula that worked for him.
Today, Hollywood, FL, is a thriving city between Fort Lauderdale and Miami. With miles of beaches and the award-winning Hollywood Beach Boardwalk, this city provides gorgeous oceanfront views as you stroll, bicycle or rollerblade by cafes and eateries.
